Name: Megastar Residence: Montgomery County, PA Home Crick: Valley Creek Team GFR Draft Year: 2000 Hobbies: Fly-fishing, hunting grouse and woodcock (timberdoodles, if you will), fly tying, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping, and other outdoor pursuits. Mega is also interested in turkey and archery hunting, Civil War history, and the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also enjoys traveling the state, watching the History Channel, and cooking chili on a camp stove. He really enjoys reading, like, books and stuff. In fact, he digs it the most. Occupation: Mega is an Aquatic Ecologist with an environmental consulting firm. How he do: An 18 year veteran of the fly-fishing game, Megastar is an Original Member of Team GFR, and was selected in the first round (2nd overall) of the 2000 Entry Draft. A connoisseur of out-of-the-way trouty places, Mega is partial to fishing the many wild trout streams found across the Commonwealth. His proficiency at small stream tactics as well as fishing larger cricks, coupled with his willingness to wake up ridiculously early and drive really far to fish tiny places most people wouldn’t think of fishing makes him a valuable asset to the Team. Residing at various times in Bucks, Lehigh, Northampton, Centre, Clearfield, Jefferson, Forest, Bradford, and York Counties, Mega has had the opportunity to “fish all over this bitch”. His travels have also blessed him with the opportunity to interact with wild trout in Virginia, North Carolina, New York, and Maryland. His favorite color is green. |
